Educators (Level 1, 2 and 3)

Brilliant Minds Academy is a new early learning school that is committed to providing exceptional classical early learning experiences for young minds. This childcare facility will be providing childcare services to families in Okotoks, educating children from 12 months to 5 years of age. 

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators at Level 1, 2, and 3 to join our team and contribute to the holistic development of our students.

Responsibilities:

Level 1:

Assist lead educators in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.

Provide support in creating a safe and engaging learning environment.

Foster positive relationships with children and families.

Assist with daily routines and activities, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.

Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth functioning of the classroom.

Level 2:

Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans based on classical education principles.

Provide direct instruction and guidance to students, fostering their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.

Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.

Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute interdisciplinary projects and activities.

Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and developmental milestones.

Level 3:

Lead the planning, implementation, and assessment of curriculum and instructional strategies.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior educators and support staff.

Utilize innovative teaching methodologies to inspire a love for learning in young children.

Foster a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity in the classroom.

Collaborate with administration to continuously improve the quality of education and care provided.

Qualifications:

Level 1:

Level 1 Certificate in early childhood education courses or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Level 2:

Level 2 Certificate in Early Childhood Education.

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with young children in an educational setting.

Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.

Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Level 3:

Level 3 Diploma in Early Childhood Education.

Demonstrated ability to lead a team and effectively manage classroom dynamics.

Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current research and trends in early childhood education.

Salary:

Full-time, Salary depends upon experience and qualifications
